Zimbabweans a leaderless population: Busha

The FreeZim Congress president Joseph Busha has criticised the lacklustre government of President Emmerson Mnangagwa by calling Zimbabweans a leaderless population, over the lack of seriousness and preparedness to deal with a series of recent disasters. With the recent ongoing cyclone Idai that had claimed a lot of lives in Manicaland and other neighbouring countries, Busha castigated the government for ignoring the cyclone warning prior to the disaster.

Zimbabwe: Opposition leader to challenge Parly relocation

Maverick businessman and opposition leader Joseph Busha is mulling a court challenge to bar the relocation of the parliament building from Harare’s CBD to the outskirts of the city arguing the move was insensitive. Recently, President Emmerson Mnangagwa laid the foundation stone for the huge new $140 million parliament to be built over 32 months by the Shanghai Construction group at Mount Hampden, 18km north-west of Harare. But speaking at a press conference held in the capital Harare on Friday, FreeZim Congress President Joseph Busha who came 4thin the July harmonized elections blasted the relocation of the parliament building and revealed that his legal team is already working on challenging the move.

Zimbabwe: Hip Hop artiste pens song for wife

A Kadoma Hip Hop artiste who recently married has penned a love song for his wife. Tatenda Chisamba popularly known as Trice in the showbiz industry got married to Linda Mangadza with the young artiste paying lobola as per tradition while plans are afoot for a white wedding in December. Chuffed by this new responsibility, Trice decided to pen a song for his wife titled ‘Ndobata Denga’ which was done with the support of another budding Kadoma artiste ‘Rockie Vee’.

Zimbabwe: Upcoming Artiste in Recording Studios ‘Nightmare’

A Kadoma-based reggae artiste who has more than 20 years of doing underground music has bemoaned the lack of ‘proper’ recording studios in his hometown as the biggest undoing for budding careers there. Speaking to this publication, Cosmas Million popularly known as Black Ninja revealed that most of the recordings he has done in his neighbourhood make-shift studios were turned down at local radio stations for being poor.

Zimbabwe: Aspiring Highfield East MP pledges free Wi-Fi

Aspiring Zanu PF Highfield East MP has pledged to install free Wi-Fi at public places in his constituency. Speaking at the side-lines of his door-to-door campaign, Mike Taka Mashonganyika (48) said he is already installing free Wi-Fi at around 10 public places that include schools in the Highfield East constituency so that the residents particularly the youths benefit from the initiative.
