A manufacturer of airbus planes in Mirabel, Montreal, in Canada, yesterday officially introduced a new plane, Airbus A220-300, to be operated for the first time in Africa, through the government of Tanzania airliner, Air Tanzania. The plane manufacturing company says Tanzania’s airbus plane is the first one for airways companies on the African continent as the country’s reform minded President John Pombe Magufuli rocks the African skylines.

Tanzania clerics defy critics, rally against homosexuals 

The leading Muslim cleric in Tanzania has condemned the alarming moral decay in the country, particularly homosexual practices, warning of looming disasters from God if the condemned acts are not tamed. “Neither holly religious books nor the laws of Tanzania accept such terrible acts. Religious leaders from all denominations should come out and speak out strongly against the vices,” Tanzania’s Chief Sheikh, Mufti Abubakar Zubeiry bin Ally, preached during the Mawlid celebrations yesterday to commemorate the birthday of Proohet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Tanzania: Exploring America’s and EU’s Double Standards on Human Rights in Africa

FOR Heaven’s sake, does the United States of America command any moral authority to point an accusing finger at other countries when it comes to human rights? This is a million dollar question that continues to boggle the minds of level headed people. Time and time again the successive governments of the US have acted as ‘the world police’, imposing on other countries what they describe as human rights and democracy and yet what they have been doing in other countries such as Iraq, Libya, Syria, among others, tells a different story.

Tanzania: Why the US should Spare Africa of Intimidation

Intimidating independent nations across the developing nations is part of what the US defines as international democracy. They have caused endless atrocities in Africa, Asia and Latin America in that name. They have assassinated Presidents, overthrown governments and provoked violence in many places. To them, the argument would be and is always democracy.
