Liberia: WASH Journalism Training Ends in Monrovia

By: WASH R&E “Media” Network – A One Day Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Journalists Training designed to enhance WASH reportage into mainstream Media, has successfully ended in Monrovia, Liberia. The Training was organized and facilitated by WaterAid Liberia, bringing together at least 10 Journalists from the WASH Reporters & Editors (“R&E Media”) Network of Liberia. Liberia: CSOs WASH Network Engages Legislative Caucus

In conclusion of activities marking the observance of Global Handwashing Day, the Liberia CSOs WASH Network has engaged the WASH Legislative Caucus. The engagement discussed issues of the WASH sector relating to sustainable hand hygiene behaviour and practice, and national WASH budget increment, among others. The engagement also looked at the role of the National WASH Commission, the issue of fragmentation, support from national government and donor partners.
