Zimbabwean police arrests 83 women activists

Zimbabwe’s PM Tsvangirai threatens to boycott elections

By Guyson Nanagayi – Harare – Zimbabwe’s  Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai has  threatened to boycott  all country elections if it is marred by violence, this comes a day after supporters of rival President Robert Mugabe stoned a constitutional meeting. “I will not commit anyone to any election if it is a declaration of war,” Tsvangirai told a conference on political violence. Rooftop Protest Ends at Australian Asylum Center

By Phil Mercer – Asylum seekers hold a protest on the roof of the Villawood detention center in Australia as the country has been urged to end detention of Child Asylum Seekers. Eleven detainees at an Australian facility for illegal migrants have ended their rooftop protest after more 29 hours.  The men had been threatening to kill themselves if Australian officials did not reconsider their applications for asylum. Somalia ranked worst place to go to school
