Sudan government promises cash boost for Darfur

Mugabe Demands Security Council Seats For Africa

Shout-Africa News/ Al Jazeera – Zimbabwe’s president has demanded that Africa get permanent representation on the United Nations Security Council. By Guyson Nanagayi – UNITED NATIONS -(AFP) – UN chief Ban Ki-moon has thanked Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame for keeping peacekeeping troops in Sudan, despite anger over looming genocide accusations against the Rwandan army. After a draft of the report was leaked last month, Rwanda threatened to withdraw its peacekeeping troops if the final report – to be published on October 01 – accuses its army of genocide. Chad delays elections to 2011
