A coalition of youth groups in Northern Nigeria have urged President Muhammadu Buhari not to seek re-election in 2019. The leaders of the group known as Northern Youth Coalition, made the point while addressing journalists at the Press Centre in Kano.Speaking on behalf of the coalition, leaders of the group, Abdulmajid Saad and his secretary, Salisu Indabawa, the coalition who scored President Buhari's perfomance low, explained that seeking re-election “could be a disgraceful move.” The coalition comprises 36 youth groups.in the northern part of Nigeria.

he Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Willie Obiano of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as the winner of the November 18, 2017, governorship election in Anambra state. Mr. Obiano won in all the 21 local government areas of the state with a total of about 234,071 votes.
