PRETORIA – South African President Zuma will on Thursday 29 July 2010 brief the media on the Report of the Commission on Traditional Leadership Disputes and  Claims. The Commission was appointed in terms of Section 25(2) of the Traditional Leadership and Governance Framework Act (Act No. 41 of 2003) and was chaired by Professor Thandabantu Nhlapo. Charles Taylor Trial: Naomi Campbell’s Appearance Postponed

Shout-Africa Correspondent – The UN backed special court has changed the appearance date of British supermodel Naomi Campbell. Miss Campbell was to testify in the war crimes trial of former Liberian President Charles Taylor on July 29. She will now appear on August 5. The decision followed a prosecution request for postponement of the appearance. Miss Cambell is to testify to diamonds she allegedly received from Mr. Charles Taylor in South Africa. Ivorian Judge Issues Fine, Suspension For Story On Leaked Documents

ABIDJAN – An Ivorian judge on Monday ordered the release of three journalists who had been jailed for a story citing a leaked official document, but he imposed a fine and suspension on their newspaper, according to local journalists and news reports.
