By Monday morning, Commercial motorcycle riders, Boda Bodas, in Kampala where in  brisk business and  doubled fares after most Taxi drivers parked their vehicles in protest. 8 July 2011: As South Sudan prepares to mark its official independence on Saturday 9 July, an estimated 260,000 newly displaced people continue to face emergency needs in what will be the world’s newest nation. Venezuela celebrates 200 years of independence
