Myers – The Evangelical Children Rehabilitation Program (ECREP), a local Non-Governmental Organization working in the South-eastern Region and other parts of Liberia has completed the construction of several latrine and hand pump facilities in ten public and private schools in Grand Gedeh County. The schools with a population of close to eleven thousand students have been in dire need of access to latrines and safe drinking water. By Nawa Mutumweno – Government sees the forthcoming hosting of the 20th United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) general assembly as a grand opportunity to further promote tourism investments and boost tourist arrivals into the country. …project in River Cess County – On Saturday, January 26, the non-profit organization FACE Africa held a ground-breaking ceremony in Semgblog’s Town, Timbo District, River Cess County to officially kick-off the organization’s County-by-County initiative. Through its County-by-County program, FACE Africa plans to construct approximately 250 clean water points in River Cess County by 2017.
