Fine Healthcare’s Mandi Fine chosen as executive judge of the 2013 Global Awards

Johannesburg – Mandi Fine of Fine Healthcare Strategic Marketing Services (FHC) has been invited to be a member of the 2013 Global Awards Executive Jury. The Global Awards (theglobalawards.com), dedicated to excellence in healthcare communications, are among the most coveted creative awards.

Says Fine, CEO of FHC: “The invitation is in recognition of the excellent advertising that consistently comes out of South Africa, we are on a par with first world standards. Survival in a harsh socio-economic environment and our will to succeed has honed our capabilities. I believe that our transformational socio-economic environment and diversity as a people is what gives us a unique perspective – one that is widely admired on the international stage.” This year live Global Awards ceremonies will be held in New York and Sydney at the end of the year.

Over the past 10 years FHC has won numerous Global Awards and in 2012 FHC hosted the live judging of Global Awards entries in South Africa. “We would like to think of ourselves as an agency delivering world class work in a geography that is an important growth market for health care services, products and communications.” says Fine.

African companies step onto the global healthcare stage

The differentiation of Fine Healthcare is its business model. “We are strategy driven,” says Fine. “Our clients range from pharmaceutical to hospital groups and our knowledge extends across all areas of the healthcare value chain. The people we employ are highly qualified health professionals and strong marketers. Effective, efficient, accessible communication is the structure around which we wrap the creative output.”

Celebrating Woman’s Day in South Africa in August, Fine’s message is one of encouragement. “As South Africans and as women, when you step out on a global stage, we should be aware that we are being recognised and admired for our knowledge and thinking. Ours is a unique strength and one that is particularly important as globalisation touches our shores. Don’t be afraid to reach further. Live your passion.”
