POWER‐GEN Africa announce Call for Papers Now Open

27 July 2011; The inaugural POWER‐GEN Africa conference and exhibition, to be held in Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa on 6‐8 November 2012, has announced the Call for Papers now open, with a deadline for abstract submittal of 3 February 2012.

The POWER‐GEN Africa Advisory Board has released the conference topics and announced that the 2012 conference will consist of three tracks running simultaneously. Under the conference theme of Global Technology for Local Solutions, POWER‐GEN Africa 2012 will feature leading power industry professionals from around the world who will share their expertise and experiences to help define Africa’s energy sector of the future.

The threetrack conference will work under the broad headings of Strategy, Technology and Renewable Energy, each with sub‐topics to ensure broad coverage of the industry within Sub‐Saharan Africa.

This exciting new industry forum is set to become the region’s premier conference dedicated to the power industry. It will also provide the perfect setting for industry leaders and decisionmakers to network and keep abreast of the latest developments in the SubSaharan region in the field of power and energy. We are now inviting industry experts from around the world to share their knowledge and experience at this important industry gathering by submitting an abstract of a paper they wish to deliver.
