Richard Branson: Virgin founder to open Zambia Investment Conference

UNITED Kingdom high profile billionaire, Richard Branson to deliver a keynote speech at the inaugural Zambia Investment Conference billed for Lusaka from 4th to 5th of December this year.

The famous high tycoon and founder of Virgin Group will make his historic appearance at the prestigious two day event organised by Pangea Securities, as a crucial presenter.

The international round table gathering which has since received an overwhelming response from the business community from across the region and beyond is expected to unlock the country’s investment doors to the international community, an official from Pangea Holdings told the businessmail.

According the KRP Consultancy the high school dropout and successful entrepreneur is among top of the world’s league of quotable businessmen and public figures expected to attend the event

“The man (Richard Branson) will be in Lusaka sharing his entrepreneurial journey with delegates at the conference”, said the official corporate communication company administering the event.

The knighted trade and commerce guru who owns Virgin Group, a global corporate that has investment ranging from mobile telephony, travel, financial services, leisure, music, holidays and health and wellness.

Certainly, one of the largest employers in the world with approximately 50,000 people, in 34 countries, Virgin in 2011 corporate posted revenue of at least £13bn ($21bn).
