The United Nations Regional Humanitarian coordinator for the Sahel Friday met the vice president and minister of Women’s Affairs, Her Excellency Aja Dr. Isatou Njie-Saidy at her office in State House. David Gressly was accompanied to State House by officials of the UN country team in The Gambia. Gambia Press Union calls on Police to investigate death threat against journalists

President Jammeh Appoints Gambia UN Rep as Foreign Minister

Gambia Government lost over D2BN in revenue

….Tax Commission report reveals – By Gambia Correspondent – The report of the Commission of Inquiry into Tax Evasion and other Corrupt Practices has revealed that the government lost over D2 billion from 50 selected taxpayers re-assessed on Income, Sales and Payee tax and D3, 838, 106. 80 butut for capital gains tax of 14 transactions of sales of leasehold properties. ECOWAS sanctions Guinea Bissau, threatens force
