Ghanaian Kwadwo Asamoah Manchester City bound?

The 22-year-old Ghana international has attracted the attention of several European clubs with fine performances with Udinese this season.Asamoah was scouted playing for a local based club Depotivo F.C. which belongs to Kamara and was recommended by the scout Mr. Charles Mensah Gapson to Alhaji Sly Tetteh, CEO of Liberty Professionals.

Asamoah’s angled shot on 9 minutes at the  end of a quick counter attack for his first goal, a reward for a season during which he has increasingly become important to Udinese with his strong tackling, close ball control and ability to pick the right pass. Udinese went on to beat Fiorentina 3–1 at Stadio Friuli, the home of Udinese. Udinese have the option to make his signing permanent at the end of the season for 800,000 Euros.

He has quickly adapted to Italian football and has maintained a position in the starting line-up under coach Marino. After his first full season in Serie A, following many sensational performances for Udinese, he has been linked with Juventus and his valuation has been set at 30 million Euros by Udinese.

Udinese, who hammered Palermo 7-0 in Sicily last weekend, are fifth in Serie A, one point behind Lazio, who hold the last Champions League qualifying spot.
