Ghana was contacted by Kentaro to replace Egypt whose game with Brazil on the same date was as Ghana’s cancelled game due to security concerns.

Meanwhile Ghana will earn an amount of $200,000 (GH305,000) from playing Brazil in a friendly next month. Brazil normally earns a reported amount of $ 1 million every time another nation wants to play a friendly with the Selecao.

In another development The Ghana Football Association has confirmed Friday, 2 September as the match date for 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Swaziland.

Ghana will play the Swazis, who are bottom of the four-team table in the penultimate qualifying game at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Black Stars sit top of Group I with a better goal advantage ahead of Sudan.

Ghana won the reverse game 3-0 away with Andre Ayew, Prince Tagoe and Hans Adu Sarpei scoring on the day for the Black Stars.
