He said Nigeria cannot afford to leave any part of the country to the insurgents. President Jonathan who said that country is not unaware that members of the Boko Haram have an arrangement for training overseas, expressed optimism that their activities will be minimal soon.
He however made it clear that reclaiming their occupied territories may not stop them from carrying out their heinous activities with IED’s in public places like markets and schools. President Jonathan added that there is an arrangement with foreign technicians to train Nigerian military personnel on the operation and maintenance of the newly acquired military hardware.
