The City of Johannesburg’s 2010 World Cup ™ Public Viewing Area at Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown will be a hive of activity during the tournament, screening all the games on big screens and offering a range of DJs, dancers and musicians to keep the party pumping.

Until 11 July 2010, soccer lovers who can’t be at the games will be flocking to the PVA, located in the heart of Joburg’s vibey cultural hub, where a buzzing cosmopolitan atmosphere will prevail.

Various stalls food and retail stalls will be on offer, and the live entertainment planned for before and after match screenings will add to the Square’s festive atmosphere.  Bring a blanket and a vuvuzela, and celebrate 2010 in authentic, exuberant African style!

Expect to see Jozi FM DJs on the decks between matches, as well as the likes of DJ Menace, DJ Hunose, DJ Magedeza and DJ Kool (Nigeria).
