WHITNEY JONES

I was born in Harare, Zimbabwe in 1989. My dream started at the age of 12 when I was crowned MISS AVONDALE PRIMARY, the school I attended in Harare. A couple of years after, while residing in Johannesburg South Africa, in my best efforts, I approached Stone Agency Africa Model Management but failed to reach my goal because of educational commitments. In 2007 at the age of 18, in London England, I was approached by an agency called Little Adults. I also worked with Dynamic Models Modelling Agency who I have done promotional jobs for. After seeing an advert on Facebook, I decided to audition for Miss Zim Diamond 2011 which went well for me as I managed to go through to the Semi-Finals and then to the Finals. I have been involved in charity work. In December 2009, I volunteered to work for a British Heart Foundation furniture shop in my local area for two weeks. My hobbies include socialising and meeting different people from different backgrounds; sporting activities i.e volley ball, basket ball, hockey and horse riding; watching the news and catching up with the rest of the world;!
