Art Keeps Scoring At The 2010 FIFA World Cup

GAUTENG – A collection of the newest and most creative contemporary designs from around Africa, PACE2010 opens this monday at the Craft and Design Centre, Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton.

PACE2010, comes on the heels of another successful exhibition, SPace: Currencies in Contemporary Art, which opened with a VIP function at MUSEUM Africa in Newtown.

An impressive list of artists was released for the art exhibition as the host city’s first event during the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, featuring artists from across the continent.

SPace: Currencies in Contemporary African Art will run for two months, until 11 July, at Museum Africa in Newtown.
